Doctors are regulated. Financial advisers are regulated. But anyone can charge $10,000 for a coaching program, face zero oversight, zero licensing requirements, and suffer no consequences if it doesn't deliver. The only record of whether a coach delivered on their promises lives in scattered Reddit threads and Facebook groups, if it exists at all.
VettaCoach is the community's answer to that.
The coaching industry is unregulated by design. No licensing body, no minimum standards, no governing authority. That’s what VettaCoach exists for.
Anyone selling coaching sessions, online programs, courses, or group containers belongs here: life coaches, business coaches, executive coaches, fitness coaches, mindset coaches, course creators, and everyone in between. That includes people who hold credentials in other fields. A therapist running a healing program. A dietitian selling a nutrition coaching course. If they’re selling it as coaching, the community deserves a place to talk about it.
What’s not here: licensed clinical practices offering clinical services: therapy, psychiatry, medicine, clinical dietetics. Those professions have licensing boards and established review infrastructure. VettaCoach fills the gap those systems don’t reach.
VettaCoach lets buyers research coaches before they pay, leave verified reviews after they do, and share what a sales call was really like even if they never bought. Coaches can claim their profile, list their credentials, respond to reviews, and let their track record speak for itself.
No ads. No paid placements. Reviews can't be bought, removed, or buried.
Program reviews on VettaCoach require proof of purchase. That means a receipt, confirmation email, or payment record that shows you actually bought what you're reviewing. We verify it before your review goes live.
Discovery call reviews are different. If you sat through a sales call and decided not to buy, or felt the pitch didn't match the product, that experience is worth sharing too. No purchase required.
All reviews are anonymous. Your name never appears on the platform.
Claiming your profile is free. It means confirming your identity, then owning your profile: adding your photo and bio, listing any credentials you hold, and responding to your reviews. The Claimed badge tells buyers the coach is verified and paying attention.
Paid plans build on that. Starter and Premium add a fuller profile, booking and contact tools, analytics, more category listings, and more review invites. They change what a coach can do, never their scores or which reviews show.
Unclaimed profiles are built from community-submitted information and publicly available data. They're here because people wanted to talk about them.
If you're listed on VettaCoach, your reputation is being built with or without you. Claiming your profile gives you a voice in that conversation, the ability to respond to reviews, correct inaccurate information, and show potential clients that you take accountability seriously.

I've purchased coaching programs myself in the past. It wasn't until I was already in the program that I accidentally stumbled across a Reddit thread about one of the coaches. It had reviews, experiences, and red flags all spelled out, which would have been incredibly useful to have before I bought the program.
That's why VettaCoach exists. Not as a place to tear coaches down, but as a central place where real experiences are easy to find before you buy.
